Emily Rose Photography is a nationally recognized, featured, & published senior photographer who has been creating custom portrait experiences for seniors from every corner of Louisiana as well as out of the state for over 14 years! Emily was named in the top 100 Senior Photographers in the nation by Senior Style Guide magazine in 2016, 2019, & 2021 and is one of Louisiana's most sought after senior photographers.
Dates fill up six to ten months in advance so get your spot before they are gone!

Senior Sessions can be booked from September through March. I DO NOT take seniors sessions after March 31st. April dates are NOT available for senior sessions with the exception of weather-related reschedules or those not on graduation based timelines.
A $250 non-refundable retainer fee is due within 48 hours. Once your booking form is received, you will receive an invoice via the main contact email address provided in booking form. Once the invoice is sent, it must be paid within 48 hours or the date will be re-released for booking. The retainer fee is subtracted from the session fee and the remaining balance is due by the day of the session. Payment options are available!
Session times for ALL sessions are set in the afternoon hours and vary seasonally based on sunset times & allotted shooting time.
Typical editing turnaround is 4-6 weeks during busy months, 3-4 weeks during slower months. Rush editing is available with a $275 upcharge, upgrading to a 3-5 day turnaround. RUSH EDITING IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING MARCH & APRIL.
Due to the high demand for senior bookings, a $175 cancellation fee may be charged for last minute cancellations in addition to forfeiting the $250 non-refundable retainer fee.
The Shimmer & Sparkle Sessions do not include digital downloads. Only the Shine Session includes digital downloads. Digitals can be purchased in your gallery. Pricing can be found in the Gallery Investment section below.
Included print credits are redeemable for prints only. Print sizes include wallets, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, & 11x14. The print credit is not applicable to digital downloads or gallery products.
Sundays & some Mondays are not available for booking. If you have no other date options and need a Sunday or Monday they may be made available for a $250 convenience fee, granted the photographer is available and agrees to open the requested date.
Location options are determined by the session chosen. Limited Acadiana Locations are locations within but not limited to the Lafayette, Eunice, Crowley, Ville Platte areas, the UL Alumni Center, & Acadian Village. Extended Acadiana Locations are within the above mentioned areas and extend into areas such as Jungle Gardens, Rip Van Winkle Gardens, New Iberia, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, and other regional locations. The Shine Session allows all of the above mentioned locations as well as any location outside of those areas such as New Orleans, St Francisville, Fontainebleau State Park, Houma’s House Plantation, Oak Alley Plantation, etc. Sessions are limited to one location per session.
Travel fees may apply to the Shimmer & Sparkle Sessions and vary depending on the location chosen. Travel fees apply to any location over 30 miles outside of my home location and is calculated by mileage. Travel fees are not charged for the Shine Session for locations within Louisiana.
Location fees are charge by most locations and vary by location, the client is responsible for those fees as well as making appointments if required.
Online galleries are available for all sessions. In your online gallery you may view your edited photos, purchase prints, photobooks, canvases, and digital downloads. Orders are sent to my professional print labs and then shipped directly to you! Your online gallery will be available until May 31st, 2027. The amount of images included per session may vary slightly per session, the listed amount is just an estimated range.

Professional Hair & Makeup Styling is recommended for all senior sessions. Emily Rose Photography does not provide these services.
Natural photo retouching is included for all sessions where the photographer sees fit. Retouching may include blemish removal, skin imperfection removal such as bruises, scratches, etc, hair smoothing and flyaway removal, minimal natural skin smoothing, background distraction removal when possible. Editing requested beyond what the photographer has completed may require an extra fee of $10 per image.
